About the labels
According to the FCC, broadband consumer labels are now required for all high-speed internet providers. The labels have been designed based on the FDA nutrition labels and aim to assist consumers in comparing internet service plans to find the most suitable option for their requirements and financial constraints.
Fiber-optic systems are made up of tiny strands of glass that carry data using light waves, resulting in much faster internet speeds and better reliability than traditional copper lines. Our fiber is run underground. Prior to construction, we meet with home owners to discuss the path. We work closely with our contractors to ensure the best route to your home.
A fiber-optic network sends and receives data at the speed of light. In addition to super-fast transmission speeds, a fiber optic network can carry an extremely high amount of data. Fiber is also more reliable than other networks, because it’s less susceptible to interference and damage from lightning and other acts of nature.
During the construction process outside your home, you do not need to be home. Prior to installation in your home, our AC Skyways member services representative will schedule a day and time with you for installation. You do not need to be home on the day of installation. However, we ask that you have a way our technicians can get in the house. We also ask that you please kennel any dogs or have them in a room our technicians do not need to be in.
Fiber construction often involves digging or trenching and our trucks to be in the neighborhoods. Our contractors are trained to minimize any damage, and should any occur, to repair before leaving the job.
When our contractors are working on your property they will leave a door hanger on your door handle with their direct contact information. Please feel free to contact them directly to voice any concerns you may have.

We have no contracts for Residential Services.
You do not need to receive electrical services from ACEC in order to receive fiber internet from AC Skyways.
AC Skyways does not offer television service. However, with our fiber internet, you will have the speed necessary to subscribe to any streaming service you'd like without any buffering issues.
